  • JOB TITLE: Church Office Manager

    REPORTS TO: Lead Pastor / Executive Director

    STATUS: Full-Time

    LOCATION: Ridgeway Church Office

    HOURS: [Monday–Friday 9am–5pm; some evenings as needed]

    PURPOSE STATEMENT

    The Office Manager provides administrative leadership and operational support to ensure Ridgeway Church functions efficiently and serves its congregation effectively. This role manages communications, scheduling, and general day-to-day operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Office Administration

    • Maintain a welcoming church office environment.

    • Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries.

    • Oversee inventory and order office supplies.

    • Maintain church calendar and building use requests.

    • Handle and distribute mail and packages.

    2. Communication & Coordination

    • Manage internal and external communication platforms.

    • Prepare bulletins, newsletters, and announcements.

    • Maintain records and church management database (e.g. Planning Center; Breeze).

    • Oversee Sunday prep materials (printouts, signage, etc.).

    3. Staff & Ministry Support

    • Provide admin support to pastors and ministry leads.

    • Schedule meetings and take minutes when needed.

    • Help coordinate church-wide events and ministry logistics.

    4. Financial & Facility Support

    • Run payroll.

    • Process invoices, receipts, and reimbursements with finance team.

    • Reconcile monthly credit card charges and upload into Quickbooks.

    • Monitor office budget for supplies and tools.

    • Generate year-end giving statements.

    • Coordinate with vendors and building maintenance contacts.

    • Assist Food Pantry with filling out grants and paying bills.  

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Committed follower of Jesus Christ and active member of Ridgeway Church.

    • Experience in office management or administrative support (church or nonprofit experience preferred).

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.

    DESIRABLE SKILLS

    • Familiarity with church software (e.g. Planning Center, Breeze).

    • Graphic design (e.g. Canva) or social media familiarity a plus.

    • Experience with basic financial systems (QuickBooks, spreadsheets).

  • JOB TITLE: Executive Director

    REPORTS TO: Lead Pastor

    STATUS: Full-Time

    LOCATION: Ridgeway Church Office

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Executive Director is responsible for the direction and coordination of multiple organizational functions including:  operations, shaping internal and external culture, and creating new ideas and plans to impact the welfare of the surrounding community.  These areas include the oversight of finance, buildings and grounds, information technology, and HR functions such as employee compensation and benefits, on-boarding, and off-boarding.  The Executive Director works with the Lead Pastor and ministry leads in planning and delivering programs and services to achieve the church’s mission “Renew Culture for Christ.”  In addition, the Executive Director collaborates with lay leadership, attends monthly Executive Board meetings, and serves on the Finance Committee.  The role requires a spiritually mature, experienced individual who has the knowledge required to oversee various functions of the church including financial management, human resources, information technology, and project management.  The successful candidate will rely on initiative, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of privileged information.

    This position reports to the Lead Pastor, supervises direct reports on facilities staff, and works closely with the administrative staff.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Finance:

    1. Primary overseer of budget and expenditures; works with the Treasurer in full financial oversight of RAC and RNSK.

    2. Serve as central purchasing agent for office supplies and equipment. For large purchases, perform price comparisons, secure bids, prepare proposals and provide recommendations.

    3. Work with bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records.

    4. Prepare monthly financial reports for leadership including operating income statement, fund status summary, and reports narrative.

    5. Initiate annual budget preparation. Track budget with staff and ministry leaders throughout the year.

    6. Ensure insurance plans are updated, in effect, and in compliance.

    7. Maintain banking relations and ensure banking operations are working smoothly.

    8. Oversee giving communications along with annual donor statements.

    9. Facilitate internal and external audits.

    Human Resources:

    1. Serve in an HR Administrative capacity for recruiting, hiring, training, and terminations.

    2. Maintain personnel files and current job descriptions for all staff members. Conduct employee reviews twice a year.

    3. Maintain and implement personnel policies and procedures

    4. Manage and implement all benefits packages such as health insurance and retirement plans.

    5. Manage office schedules and approve time off such as vacation, sick days; hold staff accountable for their time through creating reporting systems

    6. Ensure compliance with tax law, ACA COBRA, etc.

    Facilities:

    1. Responsible for the daily maintenance of all church property in good condition; authorize necessary repairs; implement software management system.

    2. Direct facility maintenance personnel regarding maintenance and security of building and grounds.

    3. Work with the Lead Pastor, Exec Board, Treasurer and other appropriate personnel for any extraordinary maintenance required and make recommendations for action to be taken.

    4. Responsible to supervise hired contractors to assure the job is being done in a safe, timely, wise, and fiscally prudent manner.

    5. Oversee the use of church facilities to ministries and hold ownership of the church’s master calendar.

    6. Keep abreast of all laws and regulations affecting church property.

    7. Monitor energy consumption patterns and forecast budgeting needs. Seek cost reduction opportunities for energy consumption and maintenance needs.

    Risk Management:

    1. Oversee safety and security concerns and develop risk management strategies.

    2. Compile and maintain church policy and procedures documents. Advise staff on policy implementation.

    3. Provide legal, compliance, and zoning support for all activities and church property.

    Communication and IT:

    1. Oversee production of weekly bulletins, emails, flyers, brochures, inserts, etc.

    2. Oversee the information services and technical needs of the church and staff

    Culture:

    1. Aligns departments with the organization’s mission, vision, and values

    2. Communicates the organization’s culture goals through internal communications, staff meetings, and one-on-ones

    3. Cultivates an emotional connection among executive leaders, employees, and the church as a whole

    4. Assist the Lead Pastor in the development and evaluation of ministry and staff performance.

    Entrepreneurship:

    1. Connects capital, labor, and material factors in order to enhance the social and spiritual welfare of Westchester County.

    2. Educates and equips the congregation to participate in the original cultural mandate, given by God to Adam and Eve, to subdue the earth.

    Serves on:

    2. Ridgeway Nursery School Board

    Qualifications:

    • A strong faith background and enthusiastic alignment with the church’s mission “Renew Culture for Christ”

    • Strong preference towards having a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in either pastoral ministry/biblical studies, or business administration/management.

    • Five or more years of leadership and management experience.

    • An organized, diligent, collaborative, flexible and service-driven work ethic

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Accounting knowledge and proficiency in Excel and other needed software programs

  • JOB TITLE: Front of House (FOH) Sound Engineer

    REPORTS TO: Lead Pastor / Music Director

    STATUS: Part-Time

    LOCATION: Ridgeway Alliance Church, White Plains, New York

    SCHEDULE: Sunday (7:00am-1:00pm), Thursday (6:30pm-9:00pm), and occasional midweek and special services (approx. 10-12 hours/week)

    EQUIPMENT: Avantas

    Position Summary:

    The FOH Sound Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality audio experiences during worship services, events, and rehearsals. This individual will operate and maintain audio equipment, ensure balanced and intelligible sound for both the congregation and musicians, and work collaboratively with the worship and tech teams. The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced in live sound, and passionate about creating a distraction-free environment for worship.

    Key Responsibilities:

    A u d i o O p e r a t i o n s

    • Set up, test, and operate the front-of-house (FOH) sound system for live services and rehearsals.

    • Mix live sound for worship teams, pastors, vocalists, and guest speakers.

    • Monitor and adjust sound levels, EQ, and effects for optimal clarity and balance.

    • Manage wireless microphones, in-ear monitors (IEMs), and stage audio gear.

    T e c h n i c a l S u p p o r t & M a i n t e n a n c e

    • Conduct rehearsals and sound checks with worship teams and speakers before services.

    • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.

    • Perform routine maintenance and reporting of audio system health and equipment needs.

    • Assist with setup and teardown of audio gear for special events.

    C o l l a b o r a t i o n & C o m m u n i c a t i o n

    • Work closely with the Music Director, musicians, and media volunteers to ensure smooth service flow.

    • Provide guidance to volunteers or trainees as needed.

    • Stay current on best practices and new technologies in church sound production.

    Qualifications:

    R e q u i r e d :

    • 2+ years of live sound mixing experience, preferably in a church or live performance setting.

    • Familiarity with digital soundboard (Allen & Heath - Avantas).

    • Solid understanding of signal flow, EQ, dynamics processing, and stage monitor systems.

    • Availability for special services (Christmas, Easter, midweek events, etc.).

    • Reliable, punctual, and able to remain calm under pressure.

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    P r e f e r r e d :

    • Experience with livestream audio mixing or broadcast audio workflows.

    • Basic understanding of other production elements (e.g., lighting, ProPresenter, Dante, video).

    Work Environment:

    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks related to setup and teardown.

    • Work is primarily indoors, in a fast-paced, live-service environment.

    • Flexible hours with regular Sunday mornings and occasional midweek commitments.
