OUR SERVICES

Ridgeway's ministries and activities are designed to reach those within the church and the community with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Worship, Music, Bible Studies, Prayer, Christian Education and Discipleship, Fellowship, Service, Missions,  Evangelism, Outreach, Christian Care giving, and Recreation and Health Activities.

Most ministries are for all while some focus on particular groups including children, youth, adults, and seniors. Both new and long-time believers have opportunity to minister and be ministered to by others in the congregation. The aim of our early childhood program is to help each child gain a positive self-image while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual development.

Missions / Evangelism / Outreach

  • MISSIONS is the heartbeat of Ridgeway Alliance Church. We take Jesus' command to "make disciples of all nations" very seriously (Matt. 28:19). A highlight of our church year is a Missionary Conference, a week-long "missions thrust" in September/October. Several of the over 1,000 full-time overseas missionaries we support speak during the conference to inform, inspire and challenge.

We also believe that every Christian is a missionary and is placed by God in a unique "mission field." Our mission as a church is to equip one another for effective ministry and service and to encourage one another to follow the servant- leader role of Jesus Himself, the "Master Witness!"

Prayer

  • Prayer meetings are held Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

  • Prayer is an integral part of all ministries at Ridgeway.

Christian Care Giving

  • Ridgeway is a Stephen Ministry Church providing distinctly Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing adverse circumstances. If you are interested in training or if you could benefit from the support and encouragement of a Stephen minister, please call church office, 914-949-3714.

Ministry Opportunities
